Will work with Jagan: Kesineni Nani meets CM, brands Babu as fraud

Must read

Defected TDP MP from Vijayawada Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) called on YSRCP president and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Camp Office here on Wednesday. After meeting the CM, Kesinani Nani spoke to the media. “I have sent the resignation letter to the Speaker by mail and will also resign from TDP soon. I met Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy as a courtesy,” he said. He said as an MP, he had to participate in CM’s meetings, but was stopped by the TDP leaders. “Today, the CM received me well and said that let’s work together,” Nani added. Nani called Chandrababu a fraud and useless for the State. “I don’t
know what people think, but CM Jagan is supporting the poor. Due to Covid, the development of the State did not happen as expected. More than Rs 2 lakh crore have been given to the poor through welfare schemes.
I have decided to travel along with CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.” Nani said that he never asked
Chandrababu for a ticket in the past. “I have a love for Vijayawada and my aim was to develop the city. Former VP Venkaiah Naidu and Sujana Chaudhary developed the
Vijayawada airport, but Chandrababu did not allocate Rs 100 crore to Vijayawada. I will
bring funds from the Centre and develop the city. Chandrababu did not care at all to develop Vijayawada,” he said, and added that when he said development of Amaravati was not possible, the TDP leaders did not listen.
Nani said: “I have been working for the development of TDP since January 2013 and everyone knows it. After the 2014 elections, I played a pivotal role in panchayat elections
and other local body elections.
More than my own business enterprise, I worked especially for TDP win. I have worked for victory in all levels of elections in TDP.” He said that during the 2019 elections, the TDP troubled me to give tickets and later gave after seeing my followers. “I worked for the party and the region without expecting any benefit. I stopped the business and sold assets worth Rs 2,000 crore in Hyderabad. I have to leave the business only because of
Chandrababu.”
Nani said that Nara Lokesh lost in 2019, but he won in Vijayawada as MP. Later, they were after him and put him in trouble. “The TDP leadership insisted on having one from my family members in politics and I brought my daughter Shweta, who works in Tata companies,” he added.
