Women true architects of society: Pawan

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan extended his greetings to women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, emphasising that women are the true architects of society. He highlighted their significant contributions across various fields, from managing households to excelling in governance, administration, business, and industry.
In a statement on Saturday, Pawan Kalyan reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to women’s economic empowerment. He announced that a special programme is being designed to provide financial assistance of Rs 4,000 crore to benefit around 11.5 lakh women.
Acknowledging the Centre’s efforts, he praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which have significantly improved the lives of many women. He expressed gratitude to PM Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their continued focus on women’s welfare.
Pawan Kalyan noted that government initiatives at both the central and state levels are enhancing financial literacy among women, leading to stronger families and a more prosperous society. He assured that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, prioritises women’s safety and welfare.
He also warned that strict action would be taken against those who speak disrespectfully about women, whether on social media or any other platform. The Deputy CM reiterated that ensuring the protection and empowerment of women remains a fundamental responsibility of the government.
