Giving a shock to the Congress party, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District unit Congress president Kumbham Anil Kumar Reddy joined the BRS party on Monday.
Earlier speaking to the media, Anil Kumar expressed his anger over Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy alleging that the latter created trouble for him.
Anil Kumar held a meeting with the party leaders and activists in Bhongir on Monday.
“This meeting was held to discuss the developments in the party. There are problems with MP Komatireddy Venkata Reddy. That’s why the workers’ meeting was held. Why Komatireddy did not remember BCs when five members of his family secured party tickets to contest for various posts? Now they are disturbing the party cadre by holding parallel meetings to give Bhuvanagiri tickets to the BCs,” he said.
In the evening, Anil Kumar joined BRS party by coming to Pragathi Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
