Yelelo Yelelo captures different emotions of pregnancy

Samantha starrer Shaakuntalam is a mythological love story between Shakuntala and Dushyanth based on Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakunthalam’. Gunasekhar, known for mounting such films, is the director. Already the makers launched the trailer and the first two songs. Now, they launched the lyrical video of the third single, Yelelo Yelelo…” The song shows Shakunthala being a pregnant lady yearning for love for her husband. It was shot on a boat while the boatman played by Prakash Raj seems to be singing the song.

Anurag Kulakarni’s soulful vocals added depth to the song. Mani Sharma’s composition sounds soothing and lyrics can be heard clearly with effective use of instruments. Lyrics were penned by Chaitanya Prasad and they depict Shakuntala’s pain and anticipation to reach her love. The song visuals also look grand. It was shot aesthetically with night effect surrounded by mountains sailing on a boat in a river.

This Gunasekhar directorial is bankrolled under his home banner ‘Guna Team Works’ Produced by his daughter Neelima Guna collaborating with Hanshita Reddy and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner. There is no mention of a release date.
