Suspended former MLA of the BJP Yennam Srinivas Reddy commented that Telangana is not at all an issue for the BJP. The BJP’s state and central leadership was behaving like Drutharashtra in regard to Telangana.

The Telangana BJP president and Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy has been fooling the party activists knowing very well the fact that the BJP will not get votes in rural areas. He questioned as to why the BJP is not mingling with the people of Telangana.

Yennam alleged that the Telangana BJP’s scene has changed after the Moinabad Farmhouse incident. He alleged that the BJP deceived Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, who was the sitting MLA of Munugode, by making him tender resignation. Telangana people are not mad to believe in their statement that the BJP’s target is Asaduddin Owaisi, he said.

Yennam said, “My plea is that the BJP ranks should not run behind lies. The Telangana activists have joined the BJP thinking that it will give a strong fight to KCR. But they are looking for other political parties while realising that it is not possible with the BJP. A person who has won MLA seat five times sits down and a person who does not even win as a ward member tells how to contest elections in the BJP.”

Stating that suspensions are not new to him, Yennam said that he did not speak against the BJP. He said that he revealed his opinion in party fora only. He said that he did not speak against the party like Dubbaka MLA M Raghunandan Rao.

Yennam said that the BJP and the BRS are 100 per cent one. Yennam threw a challenge at the BJP leaders to make a statement publicly that they will not enter into an alliance with the BRS party in future if they are not one. Yennam called upon the Telangana movement activists to defeat KCR unitedly. He said KCR is dreaming of becoming the Chief Minister for the third time but soon KCR’s future is going to be dark.

Yennam said that he worked hard to bring Eatala Rajender into the BJP. Eatala’s victory in the Huzurabad bypoll was a collective effort. Defeating KCR will remain a dream for the BJP. Eatala has to decide his future now. There is need for activists to get united. If you spit on the activists, it will fall on them, he said. Yennam said that he will inform which party he is going to join very soon.
