BRS Working President KTR responded to the comments of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited Telangana on Sunday and said that BRS is indeed a family party.
“The BRS is a family of the four crore people of Telangana and KCR is the head of that family.”
He added that KCR took the place of a son by giving pensions to the elderly, and stood as a brother to farmers by giving them Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema schemes. “KCR is a member of every family in Telangana,” he said.
He said that Modi cheated the people of Ramagundam by auctioning SCCL coal mines in an attempt to privatize SCCL.
He said that the strategy of the Prime Minister is to push state-run companies into losses and later privatize them so that his corporate friends like Adani can make profits.
Lashing out at the statement of Modi on KCR not waiving farm loans in Telangana, he said that the CM had waived farm loans twice in the State and asked the Prime Minister not to make baseless comments.
In a satirical tone, KTR said that the people of India were calling Pradani (Prime Minister) as Adani. He also added that the BJP will not be able to save its deposit in Telangana.
Attacking the Congress KTR said, “I don’t know about the six guarantees of the Congress, but if they come to power three things will happen for sure and that includes a three-hour power supply, a change of CM every year and a lot of scams.”KTR said that Congress is the party which gave Rs 200 as pension for six decades and now they are promising to Rs 4000 as pension. People are not ready to believe Congress leaders and their fake promises, he said.
Taking a dig at the Congress and BJP leaders who are visiting the State, KTR said that leaders from different parties start coming just before elections like singers visiting houses before Sankranthi. All they do is make fake promises and I request you to be cautious, he added.
KTR was addressing gatherings after launching development projects in Chennur, Ramagundem and Peddapalli on Sunday.
He highlighted the growth that took place in Telangana in the last nine years under the leadership of KCR and said that Peddapalli became a district headquarters bringing relief to the people in availing government services.
KTR thanked SCCL employees for their relentless efforts in achieving Telangana statehood along with other employees of the state government. He said that the Telangana government provided increments and jobs to the dependants of employees.
