The ruling YSRCP government, led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has prioritised the completion of welfare schemes and ongoing development projects on an urgent basis. To achieve this goal, CM Jagan has instructed all Incharge Ministers of the respective districts to review the government’s ongoing schemes at the constituency level across all 26 districts in Andhra Pradesh.

Previously, the district Incharge Minister would convene a meeting of the District Development Review Committee (DDRC), attended by all district public representatives, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Zillaparishad chairpersons, Municipal chairpersons, ZPTCs, and district officials, including the district collectors. During these meetings, they would discuss various issues, and the Incharge Minister would provide necessary directions to the relevant officials.

In a unique approach, the State government, under the leadership of CM Jagan, has now issued orders for all district Incharge Ministers to tour each constituency in their respective districts and hold review meetings with public representatives. All district officials, along with district collectors, will be present at every constituency to discuss issues and expedite development projects.

By adopting this new concept, the government aims to address the problems faced by people at the grassroots level, focusing specifically on the constituency level rather than the district level. This approach will also facilitate an understanding of the ongoing work at the grassroots level, its completion timeline, and the subsequent benefits for the people.

In line with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s directives, Tourism Minister RK Roja, who is also the Incharge Minister of Krishna district, visited the Pamarru constituency on Friday and conducted a review meeting.

Likewise, Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh, the Incharge Minister for Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district, conducted a review meeting at the Mummidivaram Assembly constituency on Saturday.

Through this approach, issues at the constituency level will be brought to light and effectively resolved, ultimately addressing concerns at the grassroots level. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s primary objective is to resolve all issues at both the constituency and district levels, leading to a resounding victory of “Why Not 175” in the upcoming 2042 assembly elections.

The mass public outreach programme, ‘Gadapa Gadapiku Mana Prabutvam’, has already been successful, with legislators, ministers, and public representatives engaging with people through door-to-door campaigns. Now, the YSRCP government is relying on constituency-level meetings, where Incharge Ministers will hold review meetings in all 175 constituencies, to address the issues effectively.
