Vijayawada-West MLA Velampalli Srinivas, Central MLA Malladi Vishnu, and East constituency in-charge Devineni Avinash said that the welfare schemes implemented by the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are reaching the beneficiaries’ doorstep. The ruling party leaders held a press conference on Monday to brief various development programmes implemented in Vijayawada four years after the YSRCP came to power.

MLA Malladi Vishnu said that they will take out a bike rally on August 23 at 3 pm with the slogan “Why Not 175” and the rally will start from Ratham Center. MLA Vishnu asked YSRCP leaders from all three constituencies to make the rally a big success. A poster was unveiled on the occasion.

MLA Malladi Vishnu said that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan were trying to mislead the people with false propaganda. Vishnu lashed out at Nara Lokesh for spreading lies while roaming on the roads of Vijayawada city. He challenged Lokesh to come to an open discussion on the road condition during the TDP rule and the present YSRCP rule.

MLA Velampalli Srinivas suggested that Devineni Uma should control his tongue. He challenged Nara Lokesh to contest from Vijayawada West.”Though Chandrababu was the CM for 14 years, what development was done in Vijayawada during his tenure,” Velampalli asked. He said that Devineni Uma looted crores of rupees as the Irrigation Minister. He alleged that despite spending money, he could not win in Mylavaram. Everyone knows the life history of TDP leaders Bonda Uma, Buddha Venkanna, Nagul Mira, and other leaders. Velampalli called on the party ranks to make the bike rally in Vijayawada city a big success.

Devineni Avinash said that while Nara Lokesh was passing through NTR Circle in Vijayawada East constituency, he did not garland the statue of Dr NT Rama Rao and also the same scene was repeated in Poranki Centre. Avinash asked whether it was an insult to the great leader and TDP founder Dr NTR.
