YSRCP demand justice for flood victims

YSRCP leaders met Governor S Abdul Nazeer and submitted a representation of the injustice faced by flood victims due to the negligence of the coalition government. The delegation included NTR District YSRCP President Devineni Avinash, former ministers Velampalli Srinivasa Rao and Malladi Vishnu, Mayor Rayana Bhagyalakshmi, and others.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Velampalli Srinivasa Rao criticized the government for not providing adequate compensation to flood victims despite receiving Rs 500 crore in donations. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of exploiting the situation for political gain by staying in a bus only because floodwater entered his house. Devineni Avinash pointed out the government’s lack of focus on the issue, highlighting daily protests outside the NTR Collectorate. Malladi Vishnu and Rayana Bhagyalakshmi emphasized the flawed enumeration process, with many victims not being properly recorded, and called for immediate financial relief for the flood-affected people.
