‘YSRCP followers committed atrocities on tribals’

Telugu Desam Party leader and former member of SC & ST Commission Konda Reddy Narahari Varaprasad has said that Ekalavya was a great man with concentration, perseverance and devotion. Varaprasad was the chief guest at the Ekalavya birthday celebration that takes place on the first day of Ekadashi every year.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that in 108 constituencies across the State, floral tributes were paid to the idol of Ekalavya. During the past five years of the YSRCP government, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s followers and public representatives attacked tribals and grabbed their lands. They treated tribal women as a toy for physical pleasure. Under Chandrababu Naidu’s regime, tribals have developed economically, socially and politically. He said 90 percent of tribals voted for Chandrababu Naidu to win the elections. ST Sangha leaders Govindu Ramakrishna, Bandi Rajesh, TDP ST leaders Garika Rajeshwari, Sri Rama Ajay Kumar, State general secretary Village Ward Secretariat Employees Association Ramana Babu and others were present.
