YSRCP helping BRS; TDP aligns with Cong

The ruling and opposition parties of Andhra Pradesh have picked sides in the TS elections.
The YSRCP is reportedly assisting the BRS while the TDP is with the Congress. Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena is campaigning for the BJP. Some Congress leaders are already using TDP scarves during the campaign and making statements supporting it.
Highly placed sources said that the top TDP leadership in Andhra Pradesh are certain that the Congress is going to come to power in Telangana. This support of the TDP made the YSRCP enter the fray in TS.
Top sources said that the YSRCP, which has a strong command over the Reddy community, is reportedly supporting the BRS. Sources said that it has become a battle of Kamma and Congress Reddy vs Velama and YSRCP Reddy.
The YSRCP is reportedly taking the advisory services of IPAC to support the BRS.
Top sources said that the YSRCP has reportedly taken stock of the Telangana elections. However, the YSRCP has kept it behind the scenes and it is not visible except for one or two instances on social media.
The YSRCP has not issued any statements on TS elections. But the TDP on the other hand is openly supporting Congress. A large number of TDP activists gathered for Priyanka Gandhi’s campaign, and the yellow flags of the TDP seemed to outnumber Congress flags.
Tummala Nageswara Rao, who is in the ring as a Khammam Congress candidate, is openly seeking TDP’s support. He says that NTR made him a politician, and he is indebted to him for the rest of his life.
Even though the TDP is not directly in the fray most of its activists are inclined to vote for the Congress due to Revanth’s strong ties with Chandrababu Naidu.
