Anakapalli MP CM Ramesh has vowed to expose the illegal activities of YSRCP leaders, promising that their abuse of power and corrupt actions would result in imprisonment. Commenting on the recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids at a former MP’s residence in Visakhapatnam, Ramesh laid out the gravity of the investigation.
“A comprehensive report detailing the corruption committed by the YSRCP leadership has been handed over to the Central government. Their brazen misuse of power to loot public funds will not go unpunished,” Ramesh declared. He accused YSRCP leaders of exploiting their positions for personal enrichment, particularly in land-grab schemes in North Andhra.
Ramesh didn’t hold back, pointing to a staggering Rs. 500 crore wasted through fraudulent reports regarding Rushikonda. “This isn’t just a case of financial corruption—it’s a betrayal of public trust. The people have been cheated on an unimaginable scale,” Ramesh said. He also implicated Dasapalla in land irregularities, stressing that these crimes have caught the full attention of the Central government.
“The Central government is treating these illegal land grabs and the corrupt activities in Visakhapatnam with the utmost seriousness,” Ramesh asserted, adding that the perpetrators must be held accountable without exception. “Those who have shamelessly looted public money cannot be allowed to walk free. Justice must be served.”
Ramesh also referenced the involvement of multiple investigative bodies, including the CBI and ED, in ongoing probes into YSRCP corruption cases. “I have personally informed Chandrababu Naidu about the magnitude of these developments,” he revealed. “In line with the assurances we gave to the people, those responsible for this grand theft of public resources will face severe consequences.
