YSRCP MLA charges CM Naidu with bias

Must read

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of lacking vision and making divisive statements.
Condemning Naidu’s remarks as provocative and vengeful, Chandrasekhar alleged that the Chief Minister’s rhetoric was aimed at favouring those who financially backed the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He linked Naidu’s statements to those of TDP leader Atchennaidu, who reportedly urged him to prioritise party donors.
The MLA also criticised the Home Minister for stating that YSRCP leaders would not be able to step onto the streets if the government willed it. He accused both the Chief Minister and the Home Minister of arrogance and vendetta politics.
Questioning Naidu’s leadership, Chandrasekhar alleged that funds were being diverted to Minister Nara Lokesh’s constituency to consolidate power, while YSRCP leaders were being targeted with false cases. He contrasted this with former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s governance, claiming it was free from caste or religious bias, unlike the current administration. He further accused the government of harassing the Reddy community and Dalit officials, demanding an apology from Naidu and intervention from the Governor and the Centre.
The MLA also criticised the government’s inaction on the Veligonda project, accusing Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu of failing to allocate funds for rehabilitation and resettlement while making empty promises. Announcing plans for a ‘padayatra’ to highlight the project’s neglect, he urged Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to visit Yerragondapalem and clarify what his department has done for the region.
Highlighting the struggles of West Prakasam, Chandrasekhar said residents were struggling for basic water supply and accused the government of showing indifference and hostility towards the region.
