YSRCP spreading lies on ‘Talliki Vandanam’

Must read

Irrigation Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu has alleged that the previous YSRCP government has a history of deceiving mothers across the state. Speaking to media persons on Saturday at the party office, the minister criticized the previous government leaders, stating they have no right to speak about the Talliki Vandanam scheme.
“The YSRCP and its allied organisations, including its media, should be ashamed for spreading such rumours about the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ scheme before the guidelines have been formed. How can a scheme be implemented without proper norms?” the minister asked while addressing the media at the party headquarters.
Nimmala Ramanaidu expressed a firm belief that if the YSRCP continues to propagate such falsehoods, it will soon be reduced to a single-digit representation. He accused YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of frequently making ‘U-turns’ and assured that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government will keep its promises to the people, including the implementation of the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ scheme for every child.
The minister further criticised YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that he came to power by making false promises and has since destroyed the state. According to Ramanaidu, the YSRCP is known for spreading falsehoods and engaging in malicious propaganda. He suggested that the YSRCP cannot digest the positive response the NDA government is receiving from the public and is therefore spreading such rumours.

The minister also accused YSRCP leaders of misleading the public on issues like the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, alleging that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan had consented to its privatization.

During the last election campaign, YSRCP leaders told people that if the NDA came to power, pensions would not be paid to beneficiaries. However, Chandrababu Naidu, as promised, paid the revised pensions along with arrears as scheduled, Ramanaidu said.

“They are spreading venom before the guidelines are even formed for implementing schemes like Talliki Vandanam and free sand supply. It is the YSRCP that has deceived innocent mothers by not implementing the Amma Vodi scheme,” he stated. After coming to power, the NDA government repealed the Land Titling Act, which was introduced during the YSRCP rule to grant lands to innocent people, the minister added.

To counter such false publicity by YSRCP leaders, legal action will soon be initiated against those responsible. The minister clarified that the NDA government will never resort to harassment of anyone.
