YSRCP MLA and ex-Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said that the YSRCP would stand by Magunta Raghava Reddy and his family.
Magunta Raghava Reddy, who was arrested in the Delhi liquor scam and freed on bail, called on Balineni Srinivasa Reddy at his residence. Raghava Reddy came to the city for the first time after being freed on bail. Magunta Raghava Reddy is the son of MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy.
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and his sin Praneeth Reddy welcomed Raghava Reddy formally at their residence. Later talking to the media, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy alleged that Raghava Reddy was falsely framed in a liquor scam.
The YSRCP would stand by the Maguta family, he said. The Magunta and Balineni families have been maintaining close relations for a long time irrespective of political affiliations, he said.
“I wish Magunta Raghava Reddy would enter politics. I hope that the case registered against Raghava Reddy will be struck down,” Balineni said.
