In an unexpected shock to the Congress, senior leaders of Sangareddy district Zaheerabad Congress said goodbye to Erpula Narottam who had joined the BRS.
Narottam joined the BRS in the presence of KCR. Chief Minister KCR invited him into the party by covering him with a scarf. Narottam contested as an MLA from the Zaheerabad constituency twice on behalf of the TDP.
Narottam said that after seeing the development under the leadership of KCR, he joined the BRS for the betterment of Zaheerabad constituency. He said he is happy to join the BRS under the leadership of KCR. He said that he will work for the party under their guidance. Minister Harish Rao participated in this programme.
