A police team conducted a raid on a poker gambling den, arrested 10 of them, and seized Rs 1.02 lakh on Friday at Kukatpally village in Ballikurava police station limit.
Police said that on a tip-off, a police team conducted a raid and arrested 10 persons who were playing poker gambling. The police seized Rs 1.02 lakh cash, and 10 two-wheelers.
SP Vakul Jindal said that the police would act firmly against poker gambling and cockfight gambling. He said that all steps have been taken to prevent cockfights in the district. The SP appealed to the people to inform them by calling 83338 13228 or 100.
