Minister for Education, IT and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, said the construction of a 100-bed hospital at Chinakakani near Mangalagiri will be carried out with state-of-the-art infrastructure, comparable to corporate hospitals. The Minister directed officials to ensure the hospital is built with the latest facilities.
Lokesh reviewed the progress of the hospital construction in Mangalagiri and stressed that the project should be completed within a year from the ground-breaking ceremony with systematic planning.
Lokesh further instructed that the hospital should be built to the highest standards in the country, ensuring it is one of the best in the nation. He directed officials to ensure that patients and their relatives coming from various parts of Mangalagiri constituency do not face any inconvenience. He also recommended provisions such as lifts for emergency patients and ample parking space for vehicles. The hospital will span a vast area of 114,075 square feet, covering both the ground and first floors.
The construction should be modelled after national-level renowned hospitals, with an emphasis on high-quality infrastructure and patient-centric design.
Lokesh specifically mentioned that arrangements should be made to ensure no discomfort for the general public while accessing medical services.
He also suggested that separate zones be established for doctors, patients and visitors to ensure convenience.
