In a significant development, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government has announced the regularisation of the services of 10,117 contract employees in various departments across the State. A Government Order to this effect was issued on Friday. Venkatrami Reddy, president of the AP Government Employees Federation, thanked the State government for fulfilling its commitment to the contract employees.
It’s worth noting that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy made an amendment to the previous requirement of five years of service before June 2, 2014, in order to maximize the benefits for as many employees as possible. This action aligns with the promises made by the Chief Minister to the dedicated contract employees, ensuring that their service is officially recognised and regularised.
