Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar on Friday flagged of 108 and 102 ambulances at a programme held at Hanamkonda District Collectorate.
Addressing the gathering, he said welfare and development are akin to two eyes of the government of Telangana.
The government has been implementing a series of schemes for the welfare of the people and for the good of various sections of society for their economic well being, he said.
He thanked 108 ambulance services employees for coming to the rescue of the needy in health emergencies.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and BRS government is laying emphasis on extending medicare to the poor, he said adding that ambulance services are being sanctioned in large numbers to step on the gas.
KUDA chairman Sangamreddy Sundar Raj Yadav, Collector Sikta Patnaik, municipal commissioner Rizwan Basha and others were present on the occasion.
