120 women complete certificate course in Data Science

In all, 120 woman students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Women Degree Colleges have successfully completed a certification course in Data Science.

Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) Secretary Ronald Rose, distributed certificates to the 120 students and said that TSWREIS has entered partnerships with various industry players to provide industry-relevant training programmes.

These are aimed at improving employability skills and paving the way for placements in software and other industries, thereby breaking the shackles of poverty and inter-dependency among women from less privileged communities.

The Secretary appreciated Wells Fargo and United Way Hyderabad organisations for sponsoring the Data Science training programme under their Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The Secretary commended Nidhi Pratapneni, Senior Vice-president, Product Analytics and Modelling and Bandana Jha, Vice-President, Social Impact and Sustainability, Well Fargo, for taking a major lead in providing free laptops, projectors, screens for the successful conduct of the training programme.
