3-day meet on development of TS from Feb 26 to 28

The Department of Sociology, Osmania University will organise a three-day national conference on Reconstruction of Telangana State: Emerging Issues, Policy Interventions and Development Prospects from February 26 to 28 at OU Arts College.
Prof C Ganesh, Head of the Department of Sociology and National Seminar Director said, “The conference will start at 10 am in Hall 133 of OU Arts College on February 26. Telangana Government Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will be the chief guest at the inaugural conference.  OU Vice-Chancellor Professor D Ravinder Yadav will be the guest of honour for the conference and Prof M Kodandaram will be the keynote speaker.”
Following the inaugural session, there will be a plenary session on “Telangana Reconstruction: Emerging Issues, Policy Interventions, and Development Prospects” where many prominent people from academics, voluntary organisations, bureaucrats, newspaper editors and experts in particular fields will speak on various topics.  Discussions will be held for three days. Professors and research scholars from various states will submit their research papers at the conference.
Professor R Limbadri will be the chief guest at the valedictory function which will be held on February 28 at 11.30 am in Room number 133, Arts College, Osmania University while Professor B Sudhakar Reddy, who is the Honorary Director of  ICSSR-SRC will be the guest of honour at the valedictory.
