Amid rising tensions in the border regions, Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi has successfully coordinated the safe return of 350 students from the state who were studying in Jammu & Kashmir.

As of Sunday evening, an additional 100 students had reached the national capital, bringing the total number of returnees to 350. Of these, 90 have already departed for their respective hometowns across Andhra Pradesh. The remaining 260 students are currently being accommodated at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, where they are receiving free lodging, nutritious meals, and transport facilities.

The Bhavan is also arranging confirmed train ticket bookings and providing local transport to ensure a smooth onward journey for the students to their native places.

In response to the escalating situation along the border, a 24×7 Control Room has been set up at the Bhavan to assist residents of Andhra Pradesh who are living in or passing through the border states.
