40 tourists stranded at Muthyala Dhara waterfalls

Around 40 tourists got stranded at Muthyala Dhara waterfalls in #Mulugu Telangana. Mulugu Superintendent of Police spoke to tourists over mobile and asked them to stay away from water stream. Disaster Response Force and NDRF has launched rescue operations.

Minister for Tribal, Women and Child Welfare Satyavathy Rathore responded to the incident of tourists getting stuck at the Mutyam Dhara waterfall near Veerabhadravaram village of Venkatapuram mandal of Mulugu district.

The Minister called the District Collector and SP and inquired about the situation.

The Minister ordered the authorities to take immediate steps to rescue the tourists trapped in the forest due to flood to the village. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and took measures to save the tourists.

On their way back after seeing Mutyala Dhara waterfall, the people got stuck in the forest as the stream in the middle of the forest was flowing fiercely and could not cross the stream.

The Minister is alerting the officials while reviewing the incident from time to time.

The Minister said that the NDRF team has taken protective measures to ensure that the tourists are safe so that no one should worry.
