431 beneficiaries get Rs 3.40 crore under ‘Kalyanamastu’, ‘Shadi Tofah’

As many as 432 beneficiaries have got Rs 3,40,50,000 under the YSR Kalyanamastu and YSR Thofa schemes in Eluru district.
A programme was organized here on Thursday on the occasion of releasing benefits of the scheme by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy from his camp office.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh said that 431 beneficiaries of the two schemes in the district were being disbursed the money. Those who got married between July and September months this year would be disbursed the amount.
The benefits of the two schemes would be credited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, the Collector said. The Collector asked the beneficiaries to utilize the scheme benefits properly. He suggested to the mothers that child marriages should be avoided and the girls should be encouraged to pursue education. The beneficiaries lauded the Chief Minister for extending money under the schemes and thanked him.
State Sahita Academy chairperson Pillamgolla Srilakshmi, social welfare JD Jayaprakash and BC corporportion ED N Pushpalatha were among those who were present.
