As the YSRCP intensifies its efforts to strengthen grassroots outreach and lay the groundwork advancing the ‘social empowerment’ agenda leading up to the upcoming Assembly elections, the party is making significant strides in drawing crowds across various assembly constituencies (ACs). Even on day 19, the party was able to pull massive crowds in all three zones.
The yatra has been particularly effective in resonating with the marginalized and backward classes, constituting 75% of the state’s population. Representatives of these communities have traversed the state during the yatra, highlighting Chief Minister Jagan’s initiatives aimed at uplifting and empowering them. The campaign not only pulls in diverse crowds but also serves as a platform to showcase CM Jagan’s dedicated work to uplift these communities.
Continuing the trend, the yatra was held today in Bobbili AC in UttarAndhra’s Vizianagaram district, Prathipadu AC in Coastal Andhra’s Kakinada district, and Kadapa AC in Rayalaseema’s YSR Kadapa district.

Addressing the sizable gathering at the rally, Bobbili MLA Sambangi Venkata Chinna Appala Naidu remarked, “Under the guidance of Chief Minister Jagan, the Bobbili constituency has witnessed significant development, particularly in the agricultural sector. In the past four and a half years, we have allocated 11,500 acres of new irrigation water to our farmers, and we are committed to providing an additional 4,500 acres in the near future.”
Expressing his views, Vizianagaram MP Bellana Chandrashekhar highlighted, “Chief Minister Jagan is effectively governing by parallelly prioritizing welfare and development. He commended Chief Minister Jagan as the only leader who has made the secretariat system accessible, placing governance directly into the hands of the people and actualizing the vision of Gram Swaraj dreamt by Mahatma Gandhi.”
Central Zone
While addressing the gathering in Prathipadu, as a part of the Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra, Transport Minister Pinipe Viswaroop compared TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu’s 14-year rule with CM Jagan’s 4.5 tenure, stating, “Under CM Jagan’s leadership today, all elderly aged above 60 years are receiving a pension of Rs 2,750. Moreover, people with disabilities get Rs 3,500. Whereas Chandrababu, during his entire chief ministerial tenure, he failed to increase the Rs 70 pension even by Rs 10.”
He added, “While Chandrababu rejected fee reimbursement, advocating a 30-70 percent split, CM Jagan’s administration ensured full fee reimbursement to the students. The fee reimbursement was first introduced under late YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s regime. Notably, Under Jagan’s leadership, the YSRCP govt generated 1.40 lakh jobs particularly through village and ward secretariats.”
Social Welfare Minister Merugu Nagarjuna said, “Ambedkar, alongside influential figures such as Jyoti Rao Phule, Sahu Maharaj, Periyar Ramaswamy Naykar, and Jagjeevanram, spearheaded revolutions for social empowerment. Both in Andhra Pradesh and across India, the BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities have witnessed the loss of leaders dedicated to advancing their societal status; however, CM Jagan’s ascent in AP as the chief minister has provided assurance and instilled courage among BCs, SCs, STs, and minorities.”

The ongoing development programs in Kadapa city stand as evidence of CM Jagan’s commitment and care for us.”
Deputy CM K Narayanaswamy highlighted Chief Minister Jagan’s unwavering dedication to shaping the future of the younger generation. He remarked, “CM Jagan is instigating transformative reforms in governance to elevate our economic and social status, transcending barriers of caste, communities, or gender bias. CM Jagan strongly believes that economic conditions should not hinder the educational opportunities of underprivileged children. Consequently, he has spearheaded revolutionary changes in the education sector, aiming to equip our children for global competition. Notably, an expenditure of Rs 7,112 crores has been incurred to refurbish approximately 85% of all government schools, totalling 38,057 government schools out of 45,000.”

Additionally, substantial development initiatives in the Kadapa AC are taken up with the goal of bringing holistic transformation in our lives.”
