Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra Coordination Committee chairman Ponnam Prabhakar said that they had divided the Bharat Jodo Yatra into two in Telangana.The first one will be from Makthal to Hyderabad and the second one from Hyderabad to Madnoor, Ponnam said. Rahul’s Yatra will resume in Telangana on October 27.
Ponnam Prabhakar said that they had appointed former MP Sircilla Rajaiah as the convener of Bharat Jodo Yatra along with 25 coordinators. He said that they had also appointed in-charges for each erstwhile district.
A meeting of the Bharat Jodo Yatris Coordination Committee was held at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday.After the meeting, Ponnam said that he had sought five names from each constituency to participate in Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra as Yatris. Ponnam said that he had asked the DCC presidents to send the names to him before October 27.
