5,756 journalists applied for house sites Last date of applications is January 6

Information & Public Relations Department Commissioner Tumma Vijaya Kumar Reddy has informed that as many as 5,756 journalists have applied for the house sites through the online portal so far after starting the online registration. Of them, primary verification of 4,742 applications has been completed, he said.
In a press release, on Friday, Vijay Kumar Reddy said that the online registrations for the journalists’ house sites would end on January 6. The State government has decided to allot a house site to each eligible journalist who had an accreditation card under the housing scheme, he said.
