The HMDA conducted an e-auction of open plots in Bachupally on Thursday and Friday and 73 plots with an area of 19,768.52 sq. yds. were auctioned in two days in three sessions. The total upset price value for the 73 plots was Rs 49.42 crore and the revenue realised through the auction is Rs 116.36 crore.
On Friday, 23 plots with an area of 6,133.41 sq. yds. were auctioned. The total upset price value for the above plots was Rs 15.33 crore and the total revenue received through the auction for the above plots was Rs 35.71 crore.
The highest price received was Rs 68,000 per sq. yd. The upset price fixed was Rs 25000 per sq. yd. whereas the average bid price per sq. yd. was Rs 58,861 which is 135% more than the upset price.
On Thursday, 50 plots measuring 13635.11 sq. yds. were auctioned. The total upset price for the plots was Rs 34.09 crore. The revenue received through the auction for the above plots was Rs 80.65 crore, which is more than double the base price. The highest price received was Rs 68,000 per sq. yd. The upset price fixed was Rs 25,000 per sq. yd. whereas the average bid price per sq. yd. was Rs 59,149 which is 135% more than the upset price.
In Medchal Malkajgiri 25 plots fetched Rs 40.64 crore in the morning and another Rs 40.01 crore in the afternoon session.
