Naidu unveils vision for women-led growth

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu emphasised the crucial role of women in economic development at the International Conference 2025 on “New Gen – Techade for Sustainable Enterprises (MSMEs) – Prosperity for All” here on Friday. Addressing the gathering, he outlined initiatives to support women-led enterprises, enhance skill development, and boost economic growth through technology and innovation.
Highlighting the increasing contribution of women to the workforce, Naidu cited the Periodic Labour Force Survey 2023-24, which recorded a significant rise in women’s participation. “Women are now outperforming men in earnings, and progress is impossible without them,” he remarked.
He announced Deepam 2.0, under which three free gas cylinders would be provided to ease the burden on women.

Furthering financial inclusion, he stated that 45% of MSME investments would be directed towards women-led businesses and Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

Naidu also introduced the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub to support women entrepreneurs, ensuring structured guidance for innovative business ideas. Encouraging women to embrace artificial intelligence, he envisioned AI-driven solutions for household tasks, enhancing efficiency.

Outlining his ambitious SwarnAndhra @2047 vision, Naidu projected a $2.4 trillion economy with sustained 15% growth. He stressed the importance of digital literacy and continuous skill development, advocating work-from-home initiatives to help women balance professional and personal responsibilities.

Calling for greater participation from women entrepreneurs, Naidu reaffirmed his commitment to their empowerment. “Let’s work together for the development of the state,” he urged, underscoring his vision for Andhra Pradesh as a hub for innovation and inclusive growth.
