The Congress’s Bhongir MP, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, said that both the BRS and the BJP are trying to trouble the Congress Government.
He made it clear that Telangana is ‘rising’ under the Congress admin. However, Telangana was looted during BRS rule, he said.
Addressing the media at New Delhi on Monday, Kiran said that the number of BRS MPs is now zero in the Lok Sabha. The BJP has eight MPs from Telangana and they should work responsibly instead of criticising the Congress admin in Telangana, he said.
He said that the BRS government had run up so much debt that the state is now taking loans just to meet its liabilities.
“The CM, Revanth Reddy, said that after coming to power, his government started giving salaries on the first day of the month. The CM is asking state employees to cooperate with him, considering the current financial situation,” he said.
The CM assured that he will do his best in the coming months by increasing the state’s revenue and urged that employees should understand the difficult situation he is going through.
Kiran criticised the BJP social media in-charge, Amit Malvia, for criticising the CM regarding journalists. He said that the CM criticised only fake journalists. Due to fake journalists, bonafide journalists are facing problems. The CM also said that it is not right for journalists to target the families of leaders, he said.
He questioned whether BJP leaders would spare fake journalists if they criticised the families of Prime Minister Modi or Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
He said that some fake journalists were facilitating the financial transactions of the leaders they like and so Revanth said that there is a need to bring a law to control such fake journalists.
