Niharika Konidela ropes in Sangeeth Shobhan for her second production

Actress-turned-producer Niharika Konidela has announced her second project under her banner, Pink Elephant Pictures. While she continues to sign films as an actress, she is also making strides as a producer. After the success of her debut production Committee Kurrollu, which was a box-office hit, Niharika is now backing a new film starring Sangeeth Shobhan in the lead role.
Sangeeth, who gained popularity with Mad and its sequel Mad Square, will be headlining a major theatrical film as a solo lead for the first time. Manasa Sharma is set to direct the film, with Mahesh Uppala assisting in screenplay and dialogues.
Interestingly, both Manasa and Sangeeth have worked with Niharika on web projects before. Manasa Sharma was a writer for Pink Elephant Pictures’ web series Oka Chinna Family Story (ZEE5) and directed Bench Life (Sony LIV). For the unaware, Sangeeth played the lead role in Oka Chinna Family Story.
Niharika’s previous production, Committee Kurrollu, was widely appreciated for its fresh content and new faces, proving to be a massive success in 2024. More details about her latest project’s cast and crew will be revealed soon.
