Bhagyashri Borse made her debut in Telugu with Mr. Bachchan, which was released in August last year. Directed by Harish Shankar and starring Ravi Teja in the lead, the film was a remake of the Hindi movie Raid. However, the Telugu version didn’t perform well at the box office. Despite the film being a big disaster, the female lead Bhagyashri turned out to be a big hit. She signed three to four films after her debut.
She is currently busy with multiple projects, but her first film to release post-Mr. Bachchan is Kingdom. Vijay Deverakonda plays the lead, while Gowtham Tinnanuri directs the film. It is scheduled to hit screens on May 30. Initially, the team roped in Sreeleela, and later considered Rashmika, but finally zeroed in on Bhagyashri as the female lead. At one point, this was considered a major project for her, especially since it is releasing on a Pan-India level.
Though she is part of the film, Bhagyashri never posted or shared anything about it on her social media. A few days ago, when a song from the film was released, she finally shared a post about it, which confirmed to everyone that she is indeed acting in the film. However, she didn’t even share the teaser, which was released a few weeks ago. Now, the actress is waiting for the release of Kingdom, which will be a big test for her, as it could provide the much-needed break she has been looking for.
