The 72nd edition of Miss World 2025 is all set for a grand showcase in Hyderabad with 109 contestants from around the world already at the Trident and rehearsing for the global celebration of beauty, culture and talent.
For the first time outside the United Kingdom, India is hosting the Miss World pageant for two consecutive years 2024 in Mumbai and now 2025 in Hyderabad.
The grand finale will take place on May 31 at the Hitex Exhibition Centre. India first hosted the pageant in 1996 in Bengaluru. With back-to-back editions, India becomes the only country after the UK to host the event in successive years since its beginning in 1951.
The contestants received a warm traditional welcome at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on May 6, 7 and 8, showcasing Telangana’s culture and hospitality. The State government is making all arrangements for a successful event.
The Opening Ceremony on May 10 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium will feature a cultural showcase introducing the contestants to the world. Highlights include the Talent Finale on May 22 at Shilpakala Vedika, the Head to Head Challenge on May 23 at Trident and fashion events on May 23 and 24.
On May 26, the Beauty with Purpose presentations at Hitex will spotlight social projects by the contestants, reinforcing the theme of beauty with purpose
