The Saraswati Pushkaralu at the Triveni Sangamam in Kaleshwaram has become a showcase for Telangana’s digital governance success, with the Mee Ticket mobile app proving instrumental in managing crowds and streamlining services during the 12-day spiritual event.

The sacred confluence of the Godavari, Pranahita, and Saraswati rivers has drawn thousands of devotees, and the government’s tech-powered intervention is enhancing their experience while easing administrative efforts.

Launched on January 9 by IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Mee Ticket has rapidly grown in scope and reach. With over 50,000 downloads and transactions crossing Rs 1 crore, the app has emerged as a key tool for event management and citizen engagement. For the Pushkaralu, Mee Ticket is offering digital ticketing for ghat entry, real-time updates, shuttle service schedules, food counters, and emergency assistance.

Officials from the Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) division, which manages the app, said its secure, scalable framework has been tailored for high-footfall events like Pushkaralu.

The app has already facilitated over 83,000 bookings across various services. These include more than 58,000 tickets to public parks and zoos, generating over Rs 65 lakh in revenue, and 8,300 Hyderabad Metro rides, bringing in over Rs 22 lakh. The successful integration of public services has made Mee Ticket a trusted one-stop solution for citizens.
