Hyderabad in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar rushed to the site as soon as he was informed, and monitored the situation on the ground. Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha reached the Osmania Hospital and ensured that the injured received proper medical treatment.

Bhatti said that while he was touring Madhira, the CM called and asked him to rush to OGH and review the situation, and that he reached the Osmania Hospital immediately.

By that time, the CM had already been receiving updates from the Fire Department, the GHMC, police, revenue, and health officials, and was speaking to families of the victims.

Bhatti said the government has taken previous fire incidents seriously and has discussed preventive measures two to three times in the Cabinet to prevent such tragedies in future.
