As anticipated, Deepika Padukone has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated pan-India film starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, this is one of the most expensive Indian films in recent times. The announcement video revealed the grandeur of the project — Deepika is seen discussing the film with Atlee, then transforming into her character by donning regal headgear and stepping onto a lavish set, prepared for battle.
With Deepika Padukone—one of India’s most versatile and bankable stars—on board, the scale and ambition of this project have soared even higher.
Tentatively titled Project AA22 x A6, the film promises an epic blend of emotion, action, visual spectacle, and culturally rooted storytelling with global appeal.
