Major Mishap on Nikhil’s ‘India House’ Set as Water Tank Bursts

A major accident occurred during the shooting of Nikhil Siddhartha’s upcoming film India House. Nikhil plays the lead in this period drama produced by Ram Charan. The shoot is currently underway at an erected set on the outskirts of the city near Shamshabad.

According to a source, the makers planned a scene with a sea backdrop and placed a huge water tank behind the set. While the shoot was in progress, the tank burst, and the entire set was flooded. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing the powerful flow of water destroying everything in its path. The source reveals that an assistant cameraman and a few crew members were injured in the mishap. It is not known whether lead actor Nikhil was present at the time, but the actor later confirmed via social media that there was no human casualty.

The film was announced by Ram Charan in 2023 on the occasion of Veer Savarkar’s 140th birth anniversary. Ram Vamsi Krishna is making his directorial debut with this film, and veteran actor Anupam Kher plays an important role. Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts is also producing the film. He too responded on social media, stating, “A mishap occurred on the sets of #TheIndiaHouse while shooting today. Everyone on the sets is safe and sound. Thank you for all your concern.”

The incident occurred on Wednesday, and Nikhil responded on Thursday, posting, “We are all safe. Sometimes in our quest to give the best cinematic experience, we take risks. Today we survived a huge mishap thanks to the alert crew and precautions taken. We lost expensive equipment, but by God’s grace, there was no human damage.”
