Party to make use of Modi’s visit to Hyd

Telangana is going to get into election mode after Sankranthi as the BJP is planning to organise a huge public meeting on January 19.
In an attempt counter the BRS’ plan to organise a huge public meeting in Khammam with anti-BJP CMs, the BJP chalked out an action plan and announced that it is going to conduct a public meeting at Hyderabad’s Parade Grounds on January 19 which would be attended by Prime Minister Modi.
A BJP leader told ‘The Pioneer’ that actually Prime Minister Modi’s tour is limited to flagging off the Vande Bharat Express at the Secunderabad Railway Station and laying foundation stones for some development projects and participate in a small meeting in the Secunderabad Railway Station area.
However, he said the party changed its strategy in view of the BRS’ public meeting at Khammam on January 18. The BJP leader said that KCR would definitely criticise the BJP and the Prime Minister at the Khammam meeting.
“We have to use the opportunity of the PM’s visit by making him attend the huge public meeting planned at Parade Grounds. Otherwise, we will face an embarrassing situation on January 19,” he said.
Speeding up efforts to organise a public meeting at Parade Grounds, BJP leaders Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Dr K. Laxman, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and others visited Parade Grounds on Monday and examined the venue.
In the evening, the party held preparatory meetings with Hyderabad and Rangareddy district leaders to make Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Hyderabad a grand success.
The state BJP leaders asked the Hyderabad and Rangareddy party workers to make BJP activists attend the Prime Minister’s public meeting in a big way.
Telangana BJP president Sanjay said that elections may come at any time in the State and hence party leaders must be ready to face them.
He said the Chief Minister would trouble BJP activists like the West Bengal government and asked BJP activists to make KCR realise that the BJP activists here are Telangana activists.
The BJP is going to put Telangana in election mode after Sankranthi.
