Food Commission Chairman inspects Anganwadi centres

Andhra Pradesh State Food Commission Chairman Ch Vijay Pratap Reddy, along with Food Commission member Jakkampudi Kiran, inspected Anganwadi centres in Appanaveedu, Kalbarri, and Vatlur of Pedapadu mandals on Monday.

They also visited Appanaveedu Anganwadi Centres and Anganwadi Free School. They greeted the children there and wished them Happy Children’s Day. On the occasion of Children’s Day, he launched a magazine with the slogan let’s provide equality-inclusion for all children.The Chairman inquired with the teachers about the health conditions and the facilities being provided to the children. At the Anganwadi center, milk packets, chicken eggs, and other food items were examined. On this occasion, he said that the officials should provide quality lunch and other food items to the students.

Vijay Pratap Reddy said that if any irregularities were found, action would be taken against the concerned officials. They inspected the mobile vehicle for distribution of essentials and the related ration depot.

ICDS PD Padmavathy, DSO RSSS Raju, Civil Supplies Corporation District Manager Manju Bhargavi, Dy.DEO Lavanya, Mandal Education Department Officer S Narasimha Murthy, CDPO Rajasekhar, and others were among those who accompanied them.
