Rs 150 cr worth of works to be taken up in Yerragondapalem

Minister for Municipal Administration Audimulapu Suresh directed the officials to prepare plans to carry out development works in the Yerragondapalem constituency at a cost of Rs 150 crore.

The minister held a video conference with the officials on Monday from Hyderabad. The minister said that if the officials prepare the estimates for the development works worth Rs 150 crore, he would approach the Chief Minister and urge him to grant funds. The minister also reviewed with the officials of the Panchayati Raj Department the recently sanctioned repairs of bitumen roads and other roads.

The minister said that he would review the progress from time to time to complete the bitumen roads immediately. Audimulapu Suresh asked the officials to speak to the contractors regarding completion of ongoing works expeditiously. He ordered the completion of the Rythu Bharosa Kendras, village secretariats, and health clinics which the government is ambitiously constructing at the earliest.

Minister Suresh said that Rythu Bharosa is a flagship programme of the state government. He inquired about the registration of e-crop. He directed the agriculture officials to ensure that fertilizers are provided to the farmers. He directed them to take steps to store the fertilizers in the market yard godown.

The minister directed the horticulture department officials to give necessary advice to the farmers who cultivate orchards in the constituency. SE Kondaiah, EE Ramesh Babu and DE Raviprakash, Subba Reddy were among those who were present.
