BRS working president and Telangana IT Minister KTRama Rao came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and mocked him, suggesting: “Had he been nominated for Best Actor role, he would have got an Oscar for India”.

At a public meeting of BRS organised in the Jukkal Assembly constituency of Kamareddy district, KTR said: “The other day our Telugu cinema got an Oscar award. Naatu Naatu song from the movie RRR got an Oscar award. Our song got an award. But in our country, there is a wonderful great man (Modi). If that great actor were nominated, he would have won an Oscar for his acting. Do you know who that great man is?” As soon as KTR asked that, chorus of Modi, Modi were heard from the audience practically completing his remark.

Mentioning that there was nothing to fear about BJP, Modi, and ED; the BRS party working president said: “Let’s go to the people and decide in the people’s court.”

KTR said that in 2014, Modi had come to power by playing many tricks. “Now, he is robbing the entire wealth of the country and putting it in their friend’s account. He is attacking the opposition parties who do not dance to his tunes. Parties should be split; MLAs should be bought, and there must be unrest in country. Here comes the amazing acting. I did not say that he was a great actor just like that”. KTR said: “He said he will double the income of farmers. But farmers’ income has not doubled. He said that 2 crore jobs will be provided every year. Not a single job was given. Say you will bring black money. If asked about it, he would put a blank face”.

KTR said that during the 2014 elections, Modi had told former Prime MinisterManmohan Singh that the cylinder prices had increased due to the misguided Congress government. Now the same is happening. KTR stated that the prices of all essentials had increased. “Nothing was done except words. PM is discriminating towards Telangana. Medical, nursing, Navodaya colleges are not given. State reorganisation promises were not implemented”.

KTR flagged many promises like Kazipet Coach Factory and Bayyaram Steel Factory that had not been implemented. “Are the schemes implemented in Jukkal constituency being implemented in Maharashtra and Karnataka?”, he asked. “Are the schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema, Kalyana Laxmi, Mission Bhagiratha being implemented?”

KTR suggested that the people of the constituency should think about it. KTR said that BRS schemes were exemplary all over the country. He observed that Hanmanth Shinde, who had won with a majority of 36,000 votes in the last election, should win with 72,000 votes next time for bringing the Nagamadugu project.
