Jagga shocks TPCC Prez Revanth by not inviting him for Iftar

Must read

Internal bickering is still haunting the Congress in Telangana. TPCC Working President Sangareddy MLA T. Jagga Reddy gave a shocker to TPCC President Revanth Reddy by not inviting him to the Iftar party organised by him on Sunday at Sangareddy.

However, senior Congress leaders V. Hanumantha Rao, Ponnala Laxmaiah, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, T. Jeevan Reddy, Madhu Yashki Goud, Mohd Azharuddin, J. Kusuma Kumar, AICC in-charge General Secretary Manikrao Thakre, AICC in-charge secretaries Nadeem Javid and Rohit Choudhary, Gali Anil Kumar, Srinivas Reddy, Mettu Sai Kumar, Jagdessh, and Punna Reddy attended the iftar Party organised by Jagga Reddy.

It is learnt that Jagga Reddy also invited Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy among others.

In fact, Jagga did not invite CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for his Iftar as Bhatti was on his padayatra and it is not possible for him to attend the Iftar even if invited.

Internal bickering is increasing in the Congress from the Jai Bharat Satyagraha public meeting held at Mancherial which AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge attended. The leaders who attended this meeting praised CLP leader Mallu Bhatti and ignored TPCC President Revanth Reddy.

Party workers who attended the public meeting also raised slogans like ‘Bhatti CM….Bhatti CM.’ Even Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also said that he will ask the high command to make a Dalit the CM if Congress comes to power in Telangana.

Another twist is that Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Madhu Yashki, Sridhar Babu, K. Prem Sagar Rao and Bhatti Vikramarka greeted people from the dais by raising hands together. But Revanth did not join this group.

A Congress leader said that Jagga Reddy’s Iftar could be a follow-up to the one in which Revanth was ignored by senior leaders.
