Must read

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Managing Director VC Sajjanaradvised the conductors to be polite to the passengers. He said, “Conductors and drivers are the brand ambassadors of the organisation and are expected to perform their duties carefully. TSRTC’s credibility could be damaged due to small mistakes. It is important that we take these small things into consideration.”

TSRTC April Challenge for Training (TACT) for conductors at depots across Telangana started on Friday. MD Sajjanar inspected the training being conducted virtually from Hyderabad Bus Bhavan. Conductors were asked about the manner in which the training was being conducted, the use of the topics being taught in the training and other aspects.

“Do not misbehave with passengers under any circumstances. When you get into the bus, greet them with a smile. New travellers should be treated with respect. Duties should be performed keeping in mind that there are many alternatives for passengers. You should have self-discipline in the performance of your duties,” Sajjanar told the conductors.

“People are encouraging the public transport system in the state. Currently, the occupancy ratio (OR) is 69. The company aims to increase it to 75. As part of it, we are training each and every staff under the name TACT. Everyone should work according to that goal,” he added.

Recently, about 6,000 drivers in Rangareddy, Hyderabad and Secunderabad regions have been given TACT training. He said that all the staff will be trained in the next three months. The conductors told MD Sajjanar that the training being given to them in the name of TACT is very useful. It was explained that the training is useful to bring out the skill in them and promised to work hard to increase the OR to 75.

Chief Operating Officer (CVO) Dr Ravinder, Executive Director (Operations) Munisekhar, OSD (IT&D) Yugandhar, CTM (M&C) Vijay Kumar and others participated in the programme.
