120 double bedroom houses inaugurated in Goshamahal

In all, 120 double bedroom houses built at a cost of Rs 10 crore with infrastructure facilities in Goshamahal were inaugurated by Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

Minister Talasani said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will build one lakh double bedroom houses for the poor free of cost.

On this occasion, Minister Srinivas Yadav said that Telangana government will build one lakh double bedroom houses free of cost for poor people in the state so that they can live with self-respect. He said that 120 houses have been constructed in three blocks at a cost of Rs 10 crore and infrastructure such as internal roads, drainage, drinking water and other facilities have been provided along with lift facility.

He said that these double bedroom houses will greatly benefit the poor. He said that the built here have been built at a corporate level with the entire infrastructure.

Apart from that, 10 madigas (shops) have been set up for the poor people living here. He said that these shops will be allocated to the local residents and the income generated will be allocated for maintenance. The Telangana government spent Rs 8 lakh on each double bedroom house. He said that 120 houses have been allotted to the beneficiaries in the lottery method. He said that it has a spacious hall, two bedrooms, kitchen, balcony and two bathrooms.

The minister said that these double bedroom rooms are worth crores of rupees and if they are sold, action will be taken against the sellers and buyers.
