Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that the BRS is on a mission to change India.
KCR stressed the need for a ‘Dumdar Sarkar’ (strong government) that can provide drinking water to every household and irrigate every acre of land.

He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the BRS office in Nagpur. The BRS unit in Maharashtra already has four lakh members and soon it will increase to 25 lakh, he said.
“All sections of people are in deep depression,” the CM said and added that the BRS would unveil a national agenda in New Delhi shortly.
Speaking about the bifurcation of states in connection with a question on Vidarbha, KCR said, “There should be a scientific method to create states. Sikkim with a lakh population of 6 lakhs and UP with a population of 24 crore are states. What is wrong if another 10 to 15 states are created in the country when the US can have 50 states?”Responding to a question on Uniform Civil Code, KCR said, “Dharm Guru should run mutts and not meddle in politics.

Why are they doing hungama everywhere?” “Narendra Modi is my friend. We exchange best practices at meetings,” KCR said. The CM said the BRS will fight every election in Maharashtra targeting all seats. He said that education should be free.

“Is it a sin for a political party to have its own plane? Farmers also have planes in the US. We want to bring the same situation in India,” KCR said Speaking about the IT raids on BRS leaders and in Tamil Nadu, KCR said, “IT raids are not good in a democracy. Nobody should forget that a democracy’s pillars are political parties. It is not good at all to harass them.”

The CM said that we need to have structural changes and not change the Constitution in toto. The CM said that the use of EVMs should be stopped if other countries have reverted to postal ballots.

Responding to 25 BRS MLAs in touch with the BJP in TS, the CM rubbished it. Speaking about becoming a part of Maha Vikas Agadhi KCR said, “We do not need an alliance and are not thinking about it.”

KCR said that we need to involve women in all walks of life. Every acre of the country can be irrigated if water is used efficiently. If there is an efficient government, drinking water can be provided to every house and water can be given to every acre, he said.

He said that we must change from best practices to next practices. Best practices in different states should be implemented, KCR added. He said that states have been reduced to municipalities. “We need out-of-the-box thinking. Economic and structural reforms should be introduced, he added.

He said that constitutional, judicial, administrative and electoral reforms should be introduced immediately. Agricultural products should be converted into profits, he added.
“The BRS stands for radical changes in the country irrespective of time frame. It will be successful. We are in no hurry,” he added.

“We have seen many fronts. They did not yield results. We will move forward including all those who support our agenda. We are not a regional party. We have already declared ourselves as a national party,” KCR said.

“Policies are made in Parliament itself. We do politics to get the power to frame policies. A large number of farmers committed suicide in Maharashtra. That is why we decided to enter Maharashtra,” he said.

If the BRS comes to power in the country, we will allot 33 per cent of seats to women in the Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha and the Vidhan Sabha. We will empower women, KCR said.
