Must read

Hyderabad: Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy reiterated his challenge to IT Minister KT Ramarao stating that he is ready to resign his MP post if the latter proves that the BRS government is giving more than 11 hours of free power to farmers. He said that KTR must resign if he fails to prove that his government is giving 24-hours of three-phase power supply to the farm sector. Venkat visited the Banda Somaram power substation located in Bhongir mandal on Thursday and examined the power supply register and spoke to the substation operator. Later, speaking to the media, Venkat said that BRS leaders’ claim that the government is providing 24-hour free power is a big lie. He said that the government is providing only 11 hours of three-phase power supply and that too with cuts.

He alleged that real farmers are not participating in the dharnas staged by BRS leaders and said that BRS leaders are making some people stage dharnas by giving them money.

He asked BRS leaders to stop their fake dharnas and rasta rokos as the public is facing problems due to them.

Venkat said that the BRS government is not paying salaries to its employees on time. Employees have not got salaries even on July 13, he pointed out and added that employees are in trouble as they are unable to pay EMIs.
