Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials included BJP General Secretary BL Santhosh, Jaggu Swamy and BDJS President Thushar Vellappally in the accused list as they were facing allegations regarding the case on the attempt to poach TRS MLAs at the Moinabad farmhouse.

The SIT included BL Santhosh as A-4, Thushar Vellappally as A-5, Jaggu Swamy as A-6 and lawyer B. Srinivas as A-7 while filing cases against them at the Moinabad police station on Thursday. Ramchandra Bharati is A-1, Simhayaji is A-1 and Nanda Kumar is A-3 in the case.

Meanwhile, Chitralekha and Pratha Goud filed a petition in the High Court challenging the notices issued by SIT. However, the Court directed the SIT not to arrest them till further orders. The High Court also directed Chitralekha and Prathap to appear before the SIT on November 25.

Meanwhile, another twist took place in the attempt to poach TRS MLAs’ case on Thursday.
The Telangana Special Investigation Team (SIT) issued notices to YSRCP MP Kanumuru Raghu Rama Krishna Raju. The SIT had issued the notices under CrPC Section 41(A) asking Raghu Rama Krishna Raju to appear before the SIT on November 29 at the SIT office in the Police Command Control Centre.

It is learnt that the SIT collected important information about Raghu Rama Krishna Raju as part of its investigation into the Moinabad farmhouse TRS MLAs’ poaching case and served notices. Already, the accused Ramachandra Bharati, Simhayaji and Nanda Kumar are in judicial custody.

The SIT also issued notices to BJP General Secretary BL Santhosh, BDJS president Thushar Vellappally, Dr Jaggu Swamy and lawyer B. Srinivas. Only Srinivas appeared before the SIT during its two-day sitting.

The SIT issued notices on Wednesday to Nanda Kumar’s wife Chitralekha, and another lawyer Prathap Goud from Amberpet. On Thursday, the SIT issued notices to Raghu Rama Krishna Raju.

The ACB Special Court dismissed the petition seeking the custody of the three accused, Ramachandra Bharati, Simhayaji and Nanda Kumar by the SIT on Thursday. The ACB Court made it clear that it had already allowed two days of custody of the accused and that it is not possible to allow their custody again.

The SIT officials questioned the three accused on November 10 and 11 after taking them into custody on various issues. The SIT collected some more information from the three.
But the information they got from the three was not enough and the SIT needed their custody to collect more information as they came to know some more facts during investigation.

The SIT requested five days of custody to collect information from the accused. But the ACB court dismissed the SIT plea. The SIT has already collected information on from where they got the money to purchase MLAs. The SIT also seized the cell phones, laptop and other gadgets and secured information from them.

The SIT brought to the notice of the ACB court that they want to question the accused regarding some information they retrieved from cell phones, laptops and other gadgets.
However, the lawyers of the accused argued that the SIT has already questioned them for two days. They also said that the sections filed against the accused were wrong and that the SIT had filed cases against the accused due to political reasons.

They also said that the SIT had kept the accused in Chanchalguda jail for the last 25 days as remand prisoners. The lawyers of the accused urged the court not to allow custody once again. Agreeing with their arguments, the ACP special court refused to give the CBI five days of custody.
