The police on Saturday deployed drones to trace the bodies of two persons who were washed away in the flash floods triggered by heavy rains in Moranchapally. They traced the body of Gorre Odireddy, 70, on the outskirts of Oditela village in Chityala mandal and the body of Gangidi Sarojana on the outskirts of Talla village under Solipet mandal. As no villager came forward to retrieve the bodies, Bhupalapalli Circle Inspector Ram Narsimha Reddy and Chityala sub-inspector Ramesh carried the bodies to the shore.
The NDRF teams have been searching for two more missing persons. Chityala Circle Inspector Venu Chander and other police personnel were also present.
