District Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh has said that cashless payments will begin in the village secretariats from August 15.
The Collector released a wall poster here on Monday to create awareness among people on cashless transactions in the village secretariats. The Collector said that cashless payments would be started from August 15 in all village secretariats in the state.
Collector Prasanna Venkatesh said that as per the instructions of the Central Government, cashless payments are being launched from August 15 in all the village secretariats of the district as per the orders of the State Government.
The Collector said that the process of cashless transactions has been completed through the scanner.
He directed the officials to make people fully aware of this. Joint Collector B Lavanya Vani, DRO AVNS Murthy, DPO T Srinivasa Viswanath, DRDA PD Vijaya Raju, ZP CEO Ravikumar, Deputy Collector Satyanarayana and LDM Niladhri were among those who were present.
